The Specialists
A WWII superhero webcomic
I’m not really a joyless curmudgeon, though you could be forgiven for mistaking me for one. These “Hey, Mikey!” posts chronicle the rare occasions when I — like Mikey from the old Life cereal commercials — actually like something.
I’ve never really been a fan of Thor, as a comic book character. I don’t have anything against him; he’s just never much interested me. So I didn’t have a built-in desire to see the new Thor movie. But because the previews looked pretty cool, and because it’s part of the lead-up to Marvel’s amazingly ambitious Avengers movie, I ended up seeing it opening weekend, wife in tow.
Despite having quite a lot on his plate just to get a new page out every week, Al has made the time to do some guest art for a couple of our fellow webcomic creators. Check out his contributions at the links below, and while you’re there, do yourself a favor and catch up on these fine comics.
