Kickstarter Preview, Day 2
Our Kickstarter preview continues with two more of the amazing art prints that we’ve commissioned as secondary rewards.
Today we’re previewing Baron Crossbones, by Jordan Kotzebue, creator of the comic Hominids (see my Webcomic Spotlight here) and the Bombardier, by Sean Tiffany, creator of the rock adventure comic Oilcan Drive.
The new campaign is just around the corner. Keep watching this space for more info!
Sean is an excellent artist. Who is this other guy that thinks anything with the Swastika is appropriate? Millions died under that symbol. There will never be a day that the human race will forget. Shame on you!!!
If by “the other guy,” you mean the other artist, that’s Jordan Kotzebue, as the text of the post says. But Jordan didn’t choose to draw a Nazi character; we asked him to. So any ire you have at the content of the illustration should be directed at us rather than at Jordan.
The character in the illustration is Baron Crossbones, the main villain of our comic. This is a story set during WWII, and the Nazis are the villains. For our Kickstarter campaign, we commissioned six illustrations: five of them depict some of our heroes, and one depicts this villain. The swastika flag represents the Nazis’ dominance of Europe in our story. It is intended to be an ominous symbol, not a promotion of Nazi principles.
