Shoo!
A while back, I mentioned that Al and I will be contributing to a project called Untold Stories from Iraq & Afghanistan, volume II from Heroes Fallen Studios. This is an anthology of stories told by Iraq and Afghanistan vets and adapted into comics by various artists. Heroes Fallen Studios is a non-profit organization that seeks “to provide Comfort, Guidance, Support & Assistance to the Heroes and members of our military and their families, both in time of war and in peace.”
We’re adapting a humorous anecdote from Letters from the Sandbox author Charles Meier about the unusually vicious Iraqi flies. Al is nearing completion on the artwork and the book will go to print later this year. Below are a few previews of the work in progress.
