Walking the Lethe begins with a botched summoning that lets a powerful demon loose in the world. Things go downhill from there. It’s a modern, occult-tinged, dark fantasy from the obviously twisted mind of Daniel Potter, with art by Adwarr (the first couple of chapters were drawn by Sam Ireland). If you like horror or modern fantasy, give it a look; it features some truly creepy imagery!
The Specialists has been accepted into the Collective of Heroes, a kind of super team of superhero webcomics. Kind of a virtual Super Friends, if you will. As the newest member of the collective, I’m afraid we occupy the Aquaman roll, but I’m confident that we can prove our worth and will soon rise to the level of, say, Hawkman. Or at least Apache Chief…

I don’t know about you, but when I was a kid, I used to fantasize about being a superhero constantly. Yes, I loved Spider-Man, but what I really wanted was to be Spider-Man. My friend and I used to patrol the school playground looking for wrongs to right. We rarely found any, and when we did stumble upon some mild bullying or some such, our efforts to rescue the victim were less than heroic. In retrospect, we probably made things worse and our failure to conceal our identities left us vulnerable to disciplinary action from teachers, reprisals from bullies, and ridicule from everyone. ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
