Just a few housekeeping matters to go over today…
First, for those of you using our RSS feed, I’ve switched to an external feed service, so if you happen to see this post, but weren’t notified through your RSS reader, please let me know.
For those of you not using our RSS feed, you may want to look into it. You can get to the feed by clicking the button on the far right side of the menu bar above. If you’re not familiar with RSS, it’s simply a way that you can receive notifications whenever a site publishes an update. It’s changed my internet browsing habits dramatically. There are lots of RSS clients out there, but I recommend Google Reader. It’s free, and easy to use.
Second, I’m looking into supplementary material that I can write to fill in the update schedule in between our comic pages every Monday. I’ve tried to fill the void with the blog, but I realize that this isn’t related directly to the comic, and may not be of interest to some (or possibly most) people. So I want to write material that enhances the comic itself. One idea was to write news stories from the alternate time line of the comic. Another is to write about the real history of World War II, to highlight how our version differs from the real history, or the real people and events that inspire our story.
So, please feel free to leave a comment and let me know if there’s anything that you’d specifically like to see, or not see. Or if you have a particular historical topic you’d like to see discussed. Or, if you’re lonely, and just want to reach out to someone. We’re here for you.
