Next week is going to be an off week.
Voting has begun in the US. Many states have begun early voting, and mail-in ballots have been sent out. If you live in the US, and you are eligible to vote, please…
Make sure you are registered, and make a plan to vote. Vote as early as you can, to minimize delays on election day and in the counting of votes. For more information on voting and registering, go to vote.org.
If you’re voting by mail, be extra-careful to follow the directions on your ballot. Votes can be rejected over tiny details. Also, find out if your county offers online vote tracking. Many do, and you can get confirmation when your ballot is accepted. If there’s a problem with your ballot, many states have a process to remedy it. Returning your ballot as early as possible will give you more time to address any issues. Drop your ballot off in person, if you can; don’t rely on the mail if you can avoid it.
If you’re voting in person, make sure you have the required identification, and don’t give in to voter intimidation.
Do your part. Make your voice heard. VOTE!
