I don't blame you for being confused. I assume that the three main characters have been hired to infiltrate some corporate installation to steal some sort of sensitive data. The woman lugging around the giant keyboard is a computer hacker, or "decker," in Shadowrun-speak. She uses her "deck" to disable a couple of security fences, then her blonde friend (who I believe is supposed to be an elf), uses magic to put a guard to sleep. Once inside, the decker is able to patch into the place's computer where she searches for the paydata, but is attacked by the system's intrusion countermeasure software and has to jack out. All of this is represented as a 3D virtual reality environment, which was all the rage in cyberpunk stories in the 80s.
