Yeah, they’re a pretty dysfunctional bunch. Resolving their interpersonal drama will be a big part of the challenges they’ll face!

(One clarification, though: Walter can’t reveal his race to the public, but everyone on the team, and those who support the team, know that he’s black.)

How in the world are these folks supposed to go into combat against regular German troops let alone the German UberSoldiers if they treat each other like this? I mean the kid can’t tell anyone that he is the real brains behind the Golem. The “Capt” seems like a burned out and frustrated ex-commando. The bombardier can’t show his face, who is he supposed to go to if he is injured? The speedster seems like a real jerk right off the bat. And the women at this point seem to hate each other, the red head is either jealous of the blond or she resents the fact that the blond is basically sleeping her way to the top instead of earning the position. I don’t care what powers or gadgets they have, if they can’t work as a team then even regular troops would take them out. They don’t have to love each other but they need some sense of group unity to function as a team.

Some people are just more comfortable alone. (Usually a personality disorder that precludes good interpersonal communication.) So they tend to be looked upon as aloof when really they either don’t need other human companionship or are incapable of doing so. Either way it comes out the same.

There may be no secret at all. But one can’t be sure in those times of global war.

I hope sometime we get a view of the world and the time line of major events to put them in this position.
