One thing I agree with Stan Lee about, with the exception of Robin or superpowered youths, kid sidekicks are a drag. Bucky was the BOY TARGET. He didn’t even get a shield like cap. Sandman, Batman, Green Arrow, Black Terror, Captain America and the like would all have been arrested and charged with child endangerment. I suspect Captain Victory’s sidekick is purely a comicbook (within the comic) plot device that bears no resemblance to the real Cap Vic in combat.

My writers group on Yahoo is touting the NaNoWriMo thing, too. I never participate as I am working on my sequel and my published work before that. I indulge in the occasional short story or flash fiction challenge, but nothing so big as NaNo. Good luck with it, though. I hope you don’t mind my putting a thumbnail of my book here. Mom wants me to show it off (oh, the embarrassment!)

Well, the Golem has not been field tested yet, which is why Max is there. Once General Hightower is satisfied that the robot works, he will probably have them mass produced. (Of course, he doesn’t realize that the Golem only works when it’s being operated by a teenage boy hidden inside it!)
