I was listening to The Bamf! podcast (the Feb 10 episode), and found out about your Comic. I have to say, I have read your entire archive and have really enjoyed your comic!

Honestly, that radio guys needs to sell some Ovaltine or something. That said, I’d forgotten how honkin’ HUGE radios were back then. Also, was the “zip your lip” warning in panel 6 based on a genuine thing, or was it just a variation of “loose lips sink ships”?

Nice call-back, having Ira reading the newspaper with the headline page from the back cover of volume one of the trade paperbacks of the series.
