They cut that title due to..uh… spacing issues. Yeah, spacing ossues and certainly no other reason.

I see both of you around in a lot of the comics that I read. It’s like seeing old friends from a distance at a concert, ballet, or play and wanting to wave; but not wanting to disturb the performance on stage.

In the original series, they did, actually. Pretty memorably, there was a monster so durable it could no-sell a hit from the Blazing Sword – the team, wisely, GTDO’d after sustaining injuries. in the second fight of the episode, the monster tries to stop Voltron’s formation…and has it’s arm melted completely off. (Team then fires missiles into the now vulnerable stump to win). Original Voltron is one of the few shows to give you a good reason not to mess with the transformation.

I don’t always comment, but i see you in quite a few places. ^^

Ya know, as much as us old people harp on about how wonderful comics were “back in the day” sometimes we do need to take off the rosetinted spectacles and admit that, dear lord, the writing and dialogue was more often than not truly cringeworthy in those old silver age comicbooks. 😀

Also, they forgot one of Jack-Be-Nimble’s titles. The Duke of Douchebags. 😀
