Been in a flower shop in my german home town lately and noticed they have grave candles for catholics.

That’s what I was thinking, too. It’s nice to see her training paying off & allowing her to relax a little–or so I infer from that little grin.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking, too. I’d buy that a florist would have candles to supplement the romance.

Now that you mention it, it does look a little suspicious that he just happens to be holding that bouquet of roses up over his face.

Doesn’t seem too far a leap. If you want to prepare a candle-lit dinner, you’ll want candles and roses probably.

I wish she didn’t smoke.

I KNOW it’s entirely appropriate to the setting. Hell, at that point in history, it was rather exceptional when someone DIDN’T smoke.

But, still… ::sigh::

Ah, well, I have enough crushes on enough fictional characters as it is.

I think from the way the thought bubbles get smaller and fewer, she’s exercising her newfound ability to block them out. 🙂
