Not sure if we’ve reached comic book levels of superheroes yet. WE only have… what two on the allies and then pretty much all the Uber men for the Nazi/Axis… Either way I have this nagging feeling that ? doesn’t qualify as a Badass normal.

Considering that his thoughts are hidden from someone who can’t tune out the thoughts of others at will and Geist utterly failed to possess him here.

Something’s not right with him, I just can’t quite put my finger on it.

I don’t know how much mental feedback Geist gets from a host but I guess Agnes with her own abilities will crack his mind once he tries to utilize them.

Intelligence ? I bet it’s sheer willpower. Coincidentally, both people shown resisting Geist were also of higher intelligence.

I guess Geist would also have troubles to possess a grumpy old irish dock worker (who don’t have to be less intelligent but is surely stubborn enough to be really hard to control).

Who knows? Though I’m pretty sure that Geist would be more familiar with ? then. You can’t really forget your own body that easily.
Not to mention a soul returning to it’s original vessel being easier to do than put a soul into a vessel that was not originally the soul’s would mean that Geist would have a very easy time taking over ?, but as we just saw that’s not the case.

I’m pretty sure that ? is in fact the body of Geist left over after Ingo was removed. A body whose mind is taken away yet the physical framework of all of the memories is in tact. A completely new perspective of everything that has been done free from any bias that he previously had.

Silly/smart money’s on him keeping it a secret just because he doesn’t like telling anyone things about himself or his methods.

I *thought* I detected a Shadow-y influence around him…
