In reply to David Bence. Ah, webcomic time strikes again! It's just been one sword the whole time. We first saw it in chapter 1, when the Baron was had to admit to Hitler that it had no power. Then, when he was afraid that he'd be showed up by Metzger and his eugenics program, he infused the sword with power. Then he brought in the swordsman Jager to wield the sword, but instead it disintegrated and consumed him. Magda assumed it would have the same effect on Anke, so she sent her to fetch it, and here we are.

In reply to David Bence. Well, her power did come from the Orb, but indirectly. Remember, the sword had no power until the Baron zapped it with the Orb. Die Arier would actually be the first non-Orb-powered Uber, since his powers come from Metzger's genetic experiments.

Well, Baron, whether you like it or not, you found out why the sword didn’t work. (in this case, presumably, that a woman hadn’t tried to wield the weapon, likely possessed or otherwise enchanted by a presumably female entity. Guessing something along the lines of a Valkyrie – possibly there are details on this already, but it’s late and I haven’t read back in a while, nor in commentary outside of the comic.) But now that it’s working, be it’s wielder friend or foe? Tune in next time!
