That is one powerful grenade. Special company must have gotten some top secret ultra-high explosive in that thing to cause such damage.
I would think it would be almost as dangerous to the thrower as the targets given the distance most people can throw and how fast and far the shrapnel must be travelling…

Sorry Al, but the ‘grenades can blow things up real good’ trope in the action movies drives me completely up the wall.

In reply to Don Quixote. Only if they should logically work better than guns for the same purpose. I, personally, would try to never forget that the guy who can teleport swap similarly massed objects carries a sniper rifle.

You know, Smallwood really shouldn’t be on the battlefield. Besides that her rig gives her almost no defensive advantages, she’s got tinker powers that are required to maintain the Hermes frame and the Pegasus pack. If she dies, they lose two other specialists. She’d be much better in R&D.

Nearly down and out moments ago, Cpt. Victory turned them suddenly into a formidable fighting force with but a few words. A good bit of charisma can be as formidable as a superpower with a good group (I would at least think that more innate than given experimentally). I do think that The Bombadier is going to have done some damage to that metal frame.

I wonder what happened to Magda? She swooped into a building that was ‘about to blow’ (which has, however, yet to do so), and we haven’t seen her since. And we haven’t seen anything from Baron since the start… They are surely up to no good – perhaps something in the building they are after, something to ‘rescue’ from the flames. Maybe some of that gold – some trinkets of vanity (or something more powerful that she knows is there? Never know with those family heirlooms…) for Magda? Perhaps some of Doktor’s work? Or someone(s) such as really filling out their own ranks from the experiments within? Or just to sneak up behind Special Company or set a trap?
