It occurs to me that The Bombardier might have the best chance of hitting Max Schnell. After all, he doesn’t actually have to hit him–he just has to hit the spot next to him.

In reply to MacNut. No kidding. My heart dropped when I first saw the last panel, until I realized the guys torn apart were a couple reanimated Nazis. Still, though, this could well become very bad for Max's unit mates, too.

In reply to Thorin Schmidt. Yes Schnell is too fast for the Golem's (admittedly rudimentary) sensors to track him accurately. And while Max is definitely smart enough to understand that a moving target should be led, he's not thinking very clearly at this moment.

I hope those are German soldiers Max is shredding in the last panel. As for Schnell, Max had better figure out how to lead a target if he is to have any hope of shooting a speedster.

Sadly, in his present mood I don’t think Max is up to figuring out anything. Those US Army boys near him had better duck, cover and pray.
