I don't like to give away details that haven't been revealed, but I will say that the goal of Metzger's Ubermensch serum is to achieve a supposed Aryan ideal of human perfection, which basically means just making a person better: faster, stronger, more agile, etc. Clearly, it doesn't always work as expected, and it would appear that the Doktor is messing around with non-human genetics, so it's possible that some other abilities may result as well.

So what exactly are the Kapitan’s powers? Is he similar to to Captain Victory with enhanced strength and stamina or is he different somehow?

It looks nice, however if it was gonna be one of the Ubermench I would have preferred the Baron or Panzer or better yet The Witch.

In reply to Matrixpoldi. Yeah, someone pointed out the difference between kapitän and hauptman when we first introduced the character. Normally, we try really hard to get our details right, but this is one that we're going to let slide. Either that, or we'll show him in a boat at some point. ;-)

A nice piece. Some food for thought:

“Kapitän” is always a “sea captain”, it is not a military rank. There is the “Kaptiän zur See”, but that would make him part of the Kriegsmarine and likely to be in command of a ship.

The rank you are looking for is “Hauptmann”, it also fits with his background as a soldier on guard duty.

PS: I will be verily disappointed if he does not get his head kicked in.
