Ah yes, Watchmen was awesome! I’ve read some legitimate complaints (and I’m not talking about the change to the ending here), but I really liked it. Most people in the Hollywood thought that the book was impossible to film, and I can see why. I think it’s amazing that it ended up being as faithful to the source as it was. It’s too bad that it wasn’t more successful, but I think that’s more because Watchmen was never very mainstream to begin with than because of the quality of the movie.

Wow, you have pretty eclectic tastes, Artie! I wasn’t a fan of Spawn, but Sin City was a masterpiece. I’d forgotten about it when I wrote this post, but it would probably be on my short list as well.
