I had wanted to show a little bit of this exchange from Max’s point of view, but I couldn’t figure out a good way to work it into the page. But think about it: you’re a Jewish kid, and a Nazi monster-man jumps out from behind you, asks if you’re a Jew, starts grabbing you and yelling at you in German, and then runs out. It would be as confusing as it would be terrifying.

Kickstarter-Exclusive Bombardier print

Don’t miss your chance to get a copy of this print!

Our Kickstarter campaign is tantalizingly close to meeting its funding goal: just a few hundred dollars away! As we’ve mentioned before, one of the rewards we’re giving to backers is this amazing Bombardier print. Everyone who pledges at least $10 gets an 8.5″x11″ copy of this print, and it will also be available as a signed-and-numbered 11″x17″ giclee (that’s a high-quality digital print). This image is exclusive to this campaign, meaning that it won’t be available in any form anywhere else, ever. We won’t be selling it at cons, and it won’t be available through our online store (which will be coming in the near future).

Lady Liberty Kickstarter print - rough

This is a rough draft of the Lady Liberty print

To sweeten the deal, we’ve also added a stretch goal. If we can make it to $4,000, we’ll also send an 8.5″x11″ Lady Liberty print — the rough draft of which is shown here — to everyone who pledged $10 or more. This is an original image inspired by Coles Phillips’ “Fadeaway Girl” paintings. It will also be available as an 11″x17″ giclee. (This image will not be exclusive to the Kickstarter campaign.)

The campaign is about half-way done, so there’s still time for you to make a pledge. If you haven’t taken a look at it yet, check it out!
