Looks like Max may need a reboot.
Looks like we need somebody to ASSUME DIRECT CONTROL. Possibly even DEAL WITH THESE NAZIS THEMSELVES.
I’m thinking that if he can’t get the golem to run itself, he may need to conscribe someone else to drive it.
Never send a nebbish to do a robot’s job.
coming from someone who has been there its not so easy to pull that trigger when your targets not made of paper
plus honestly Target priority is kinda hard there, mena… do you go for the Zombies, or the Speedster, or the huge guy with the vechicle-class weapon…on second thought…. probably a good idea to nail that last one.
When I think back to the start of this comic, that’s the same kid itching for this moment.
It’s also the same kid that thought that Captain Victory and Lady Liberty were really engaged. He’s learning just how little he really knows, and just how bad reality is.
Never send a meatbag to do a machine’s job.
Thankfully, Percussive maintenance of the sort the soldier just did might be enough to reboot on…
Exactly! Bang on it a few times to get the gears unstuck. Works every time.
Oooooohh, a moment for potential comedy. (Max screams like a girl, farts in complete surprise, and sprays the rest of his clip skyward(Or into a port-a-potty or something…))
there only 2 paths for max now the path of big boss or shinji ikari
He mustn’t run away! He mustn’t run away! (I couldn’t resist) 😉
(Although, you would think that Henry would have more in common Shinji)
I would think Henry to be more Asuka-like in having the over-the-top self-portrayal hiding a fragile and insecure psyche. I see Max as too outgoing and stable to really be Shinji-like… he is just now in a delicate situation. But I can’t say that such situations might not make him more Shinji-like in time… I always saw Shinji as sort of shell-shocked by life.
Hopefully, though, he ends up closer to a Spark. And realizes that mass producing mecha to fight the Nazis is probably a better idea than going into combat himself. Probably not that sort of comic, though.
I forgot this kid even existed.
Don’t shoot the speedster!!!
It is typically a sign that I’ve been hooked on a webcomic when I spent until the wee hours of the morning archive binging it rather than pursuing much-needed sleep.
Welcome, Gordon, we’re glad you found us! I hope we were worth the sleep deprivation!
