Lucky for Ox Geist found a more enticing vessel. Assuming his goal is to maximize his ability to wreak havoc, which of the Specialists do you think would make the best puppet?
To wreck havoc? I’d say Lightning Lass, honestly. Hard to dodge electricity, especially if you don’t know it’s coming.
Lightning Lass was gonna be my response, too. She showed a lot of “sudden and massive area damage” power earlier.
He propably asumes the Golem is a robot, so he won’t go for it.
Bombardier has the best mobility so I guess he goes for him.
Of course it could be that he cannot posess people of color. Wich would be a pretty big irony for an Aryan ghost,
‘Can only possess Caucasians’ would be a *perfect* sudden limitation.
There’s also the fact that Walter is the only one that can fly that kit.
Well, considering you have Bombardier flying over Geist, who looks up at him, then flies out of Ox and UP to… oh, it was a rhetorical question? sorry, my bad…..
No, it wasn’t rhetorical. Geist is on his way to possess Walt at the moment, but I was asking which of The Specialists would be the most effective as a tool to cause mayhem, if Geist had his pick.
Given the nature of the symbol on Golem’s chest I venture to say he can’t go into it either
Geist probably can’t possess Agnes, and probably not ? either, since ? seems to be able to close his mind to Agnes (I wonder where ? is right now, too). I agree that the Golem is unlikely. So if Luke turns out to be strong enough to resist him, that would leave Walter, Kate, “Jack Be Nimble”, and maybe about Hartmann, for targets.
I would make a guess the special generators that some are wearing may be produce an electromagnetic field that could disrupt the Geists form
It’s an interesting notion. Geist attempting to possess Walter will soon prove or disprove it. (The Pegasus flightpack is powered by a Prometheus reactor, same as the Zeus and Hermes equipment.)
Does Geist NEED to vacate a body before it dies (like he’d be stuck in it if the body died while he was riding it), or is he just doing it so his victim can fully experience their inability to escape dying?
Nope, he can possess a person until they die, and then leave the body, as seen here.
“…so his victim can fully experience their inability to escape dying”. That’s a nice turn of phrase!
Easy answer, possess the captain, but quietly so the orders that are given are the worst possible for the specialists.
If he possessed Walter, he would probably vacate IMMEDIATELY rather tolerate another moment inside the body of an inferior SCHWARZ…
Hmm, which brings up another interesting question. Does Geist gain any knowledge about his host when he takes over? If not, perhaps unable to fly the jetpack, he crashes and the helmet comes loose, giving Geist his turn at being horrified.
Just a thought.
Or he’s just perfectly practical about and disposes of the tool when he’s done. I mean, what proof is there that he CARES about who he possesses beyond how effective they are as weapons, eh?
