Looks like Max should have used a better brand of robot-strength religious symbol remover.
Come back tomorrow for our first piece of guest art to feature one of the Übermenschen!
Dawww! that was sweet Hartman.
“I did. This is a new ‘Jew Thing'”
“I got a ton of ’em!”
nice job hartmann
Out Da## spot, out!
Love a Shakespeare reference! Fortunately, I don’t think this re-appearing star will drive Max mad!
Silly me, I just now realize that the “physics” symbol is a disguised star of David… 🙂
Good! That means the disguise is working! (Seriously, though, it’s funny that some people get it right away and some don’t. If I didn’t know what it was, I wouldn’t be surprised if I didn’t make the connection myself.)
Hmm. Hmm. Hmm.
You know Hartmann, intervening now to ask if the Nazi laws are in effect might be wise.
Despite what people seem to be assuming: I don’t think it was Hartmann.
Our ‘Golem’ friend is self-aware to a certain extent, after all… isn’t he?
Interesting… A lot of you assume that Hartmann painted the star, but as @fcd4e9daa6ba46952e1a76462de4591e:disqus pointed out, the Golem has some limited autonomy. Any other guesses?
Jack-Be-Nimble trying to get Max in trouble?
Ooh, that’s a good one!
or posibly it is that he redid that in his sleep unlikely but it is a possiblity that still makes some sence and isn’t too big ofg a strectch
I don’t know who would have done it. Hartmann seems unlikely because he wouldn’t want to get Max in trouble, Jack-be-nimble too but because it seem too subtle for this guy… The golem as very limited autonomy, he isn’t event able to walk correctly on his own, I can’t see him reaching for the paint without knocking lots of things, painting the david stard correctly, not leaving any paint stain (thought we can’t see his left hand and only part of it’s right) and then geting back into it’s place, standing upright. But maybe that he has more autonomy than he wants to show.
No what puzzle me is that Max didn’t noticed that the david star was back until Gomez pointed it out.
Good thoughts on the possible culprits. Hard to say…
But I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think that Max could have missed the new star on the Golem. It wouldn’t be very bright in his workshop, and he wasn’t paying attention to the Golem. I’ve missed much more prominent things before my coffee before!
If it was Hartmann (Which I am hoping for, cause that’s nice of him) I have this to say:
Hmmm. If it was Hartmann (and I’m not saying that it was), I think he’d need to do more than that to make up for his past sins.
Americans didn’t like Jews, just not as bad as the Germans.
Has to be the golem – the bay door was closed last night so after Hartman left no one else would have seen him remove the star of David to know to go repaint it.
